About the Role

We are hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to accelerate REG’s new business growth across the UK insurance market and the wider regulated financial services landscape.

This is a hunter-focused role suited to someone who thrives on generating pipeline, through structured campaign-based market engagement. You will work with a very experienced team who have spent years in the sector, who will help to grow and enhance your career.

  • Develop senior stakeholder relationships across insurers and financial institutions.
  • Build a high-quality, self-generated pipeline with close support from our experienced sales & marketing team
  • Opportunity to shape the in-house sales function using your prior experience. Working the full cycle to run and close smaller new business opportunities, thus gaining invaluable sales experience.

About You

You are an experienced new business SDR with strong energy, commercial sharpness and a hands-on approach suited to a growing scale-up environment.

  • Experience running campaigns into insurance or financial services sectors.
  • A confident prospector who enjoys building pipeline from scratch.
  • Based within 1 hour of London; happy with hybrid working.
  • Thrives in agile teams without heavy enterprise infrastructure.

  • End-to-end new business ownership from prospecting to close.
  • Managing smaller-market opportunities in regulated environments.
  • Outbound prospecting via phone, email, LinkedIn, networking and events.
  • Close collaboration with marketing and customer success teams.

  • Experience in RegTech, InsurTech, compliance or risk platforms.
  • Understanding of FCA/PRA regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience with insurers, brokers, MGAs or financial institutions.
  • Experience in PE-backed SaaS scale-ups.
